Meribella in New South Wales

"Omgoodness!!! This place is amazing !!! We had the cutest, craziest and friendliest hostess. She was a wealth of knowledge. Advised us on wine selection as well as menu selections, all being spot on and so delicious!! The night was sublime, the view so fabulous and the restaurant had that old world charm about it . The food was so tasty , so scrumptious, really blew our minds away. We enjoyed everything in the night. Made our 31st wedding anniversary celebration so much more special and memorable. "We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday celebrating with our daughters God parents. We loved the food and the service was exceptional. Riley looked after us and was so accommodating and helpful. "We had Father’s Day lunch at Meribella, located on the first floor of Crowne Plaza Terrigal. There were 6 people in our group. We mainly ordered mains and drinks, 1 entree and no desserts were ordered. Out of the 5 unique dishes ordered, 4 were good and 1 was tolerable. The restaurant had a very high see-through ceiling with huge windows over looking Terrigal Beach. The noise level was fine, we could talk to each other without shouting and our table was quite big. The service was good, to be expected at a fine dining restaurant. Overall, the experience was fine. I would go back there again but not order that one dish we found to be mediocre at best."

"I finally made it to Meribella. We were seated in the Lord Ashley Lounge not the actual restaurant. That made sense as there were only two tables to serve. The day was cloudless and that resulted in the most amazing colours of our view of the Haven. My friend chose the snapper. I can never go past duck, if it's on the menu. We also ordered a side of broccoli. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, and was delicious."

"Wow! Loved it! The food was amazing, we highly recommend the duck. The chef’s own wine “Ciel” was great! The only down side is also the biggest feature, the glass dinning area. During the day it was very warm and I almost needed a hat. At night I’m sure this would be amazing but then you’d lose the great view of the ocean. Riley and the team do a great. The special touch of a bit on our docket was the cherry on top!"
